I'll note that additional topics are okay in the questions. I'll answer basically anything I feel I can add value on

Most important question:

What is your schedule release watch schedule?

But more seriously:

1. Is the QB market unique or do other positions have non-linear contract progression between tiers of players? We have seen some "middle class" contracts but the Goff deal and draft seem to keep reinforcing the skew to both extremes for QBs.

2. Any thoughts on the new Hard Knocks "Offseason" program? Could be really interesting for offseason warriors, but depends on how much they show. Giants seemed to have one of the more uneventful offseasons.

3. Not sure if you've discussed this before, but would it be of benefit to some teams if the draft came before free agency? Some would argue this would depress free agent spending, but I feel like it would be zero sum and just shift it around.

Unrelated. Watching the schedule release and the film bros tell me you look like Joe Buck. Your thoughts on the potential surplus value?

Who are you watching?

I've gone through my life from being compared to like Macaulay Culkin to Ian Ziering (Steve Sanders, 90210) to Joe Buck. Not exactly getting better with age

Ha I was the said film bro. That’s a strong doppel list.

On a real note, do you have a schedule take for the pod? How they group the bye weeks is head scratching to me

You've mentioned before that paying a superstar TE is good process since they provide value on the second contract despite not being a valuable position. Is there any argument to paying an "elite" safety like Antoine Winfield Jr? Do elite safeties even exist in the current NFL? I would assume the difference between top-tier safeties and their average counterparts is relatively small compared to other positions.

Also, not trying to create more work for you but is there a reason 2023 Plus/Minus numbers aren't available for defensive players?

Would you rather have the Cousins or Goff deal?

Where would you put Tua if he signs for slightly more than Goff? It’s really a question about high performing system QBs. The 49ers said no thanks to Jimmy G despite his numbers, and tried to pivot to Lance. However we have a few examples where teams say Yes.

Love it. I definitely vote for keeping this cadence with posts + pods!

One throughline question: How well do the Goff and Winfield moves align with your organizational rankings (i.e., good/mediocre/bad orgs making good/mediocre/bad decisions)?

You'd also talked a bit about how extensions for good players (especially at positions of high relative value) are often the "easiest" part of the job. Just curious how well these moves do--or don't--fit into that paradigm and what ripple effects they may have for these teams in the other "harder" parts of the inverted team building pyramid.
