And how quickly could the Rams (realistically) turn their awful oline into a serviceable unit? This second part is a question of interest for a lot of teams, case in point I know a guy who knows a guy who's been watching Trent Brown cut block on 3rd down & long all season.
Great questions. I'm going to try and dig into it. I've posted in the past with PFF data on QB vs blocking sack avoidance credit and that's somewhere to start. Hopefully I'm going to be able to use some charting data from other sources to research other options.
Turning around an OL is tough, though the scheme in LA prefers lighter guys for movement which opens up more possible options. The interior can be rebuilt quicker than tackles who are on an island and aren't available at reasonable costs in free agency. Rams also don't have high-end picks to get a tackle in the draft.
